Mel Thomas Performance Camp

EOAARA and Eastern Ontario Capitals NRL are are excited to host a Skating Development Program led by Ringette Canada Skating Skills Coach Mel Thomas (Mel Thomas Performance). Mel has been the skating skills coach for the U18 Team Canada Development program since 2023 as well as the 2025 Junior National Team. This program is designed to help athletes improve technique and train explosiveness to increase speed through focused instruction and skill progression.

Program Includes:

• 3 On-Ice Skating Development Sessions with Mel Thomas
• Small group instruction and individualized feedback

Cost: $140 per athlete

When: June 12-14, 2026

Where: Ray Friel Recreation Complex 3

Who Should Register: Ideal for competitive athletes (U16AA, U19A, U19AA, NRL) looking to strengthen their skating fundamentals and build stronger technical skills that transfer directly to game performance. Groups will be divided in order for instruction to meet the needs of each level.

Spots are limited — advance registration on RAMP required.
